2009 was just like that!
Whether it was chasing Eagles, or looking for different wildlife with my big sister and my neices... it was moments I'll always cherish.
Speaking of a journey... life's also a trip. I spent a couple of weeks to take a road trip down to Nevada. I Spent about a week in LasVegas where I met my brother (and fellow photographer), and attended WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International). What a fantastic time. It was a true inspiration, meeting some truely awesome people and photographers who I absolutely admire and respect.
While in Las Vegas, I headed a little north for a day, and visited Valley of Fire. It was just beautiful.
This year I took a business course, and met a awesome group of individuals who all were taking the step to start their own business... so many ideas out there.
I took the step. Although photographing over the past several years, I took the step to do it full time, and opend up my first studio. A dream coming true!
Since opening, I've had some pretty cool, awesome shoots take place here. Lots of laughs, ideas, and time to experiment. I just love it!
It's been a year of photographing different individuals, whether in the studio or on location.
It's been a year of making new friends, and connecting with old friends.
It's been a year of spending time doing things I love, with those I love.
It's been a year of realizing what's important.
I've been invited into peoples lives. They've all shared intimate moments, happy moments... moments that I'll never forget. Seeing family and friends come together, couples in love, has been an emotional high that words don't justify.

From one extreme to the other... sun and water, sun and snow.
I love adventure, and I love the memories it brings.
