New Facebook group :: Calgary Photography Photographer

I'm excited to say I've just launched my new Facebook page/group.

I invite you to check it out. It'll show current work, as well as photo work I've done over the past years. I also hope that it will open up the line of communication with those with comments or questions... I guess a good way to get to know each other a bit better. In the discussions section, I've opened up "photo tips", so if you have a question about photography, or even your camera, I'll do my best to give information that is relevant and hopefully helpful. As well, I'll be posting updates of my website and any new venture. If you click on the title above, it'll take you to the site. Please take a look, I'd love for you to join the group.

Cakes With Attitude :: Calgary Wedding Photographer

I love food! I've had the opportunity to be around quite a few chefs, that let me try what they're making (I think they know how much coffee I drink).

Right by my studio is Cakes With Attitude... where I get to see Pastry Chef, Natasha Schick, at work. I think it's the coolest thing to see Natasha put these amazing cakes together... I'm usually in awe of how these are done. She'll tell me what the end results will be, and I'm always impressed! As well, Natasha leaves trimmings that I like to eat... the flavours she offers are amazingly delishious!

It show's in her work, the passion she has for doing what she does! I've seen the time and effort she puts in to her creations... the attention to detail.

Natasha is fantastic with an awesome attitude, and just a delight to be around!

Karly and Matt :: Calgary Wedding Photographer

The day was gorgeous... and everyone there was fantastic!
The night ended with live music... two bands... Claymore and EOP.... then an open jam, and everyone dancing... what a great time!

So we came accross this amazing place in the NW part of Calgary. The weather was beautiful... a nice mix of sunshine, clouds, and a light rain to end things and keep it fresh!
Ariana and Justin were naturals (they were just who they needed to be... themselves).
Maybe we can get the motorcycle in at the wedding... Thanks for an amazing session!

EOP :: Calgary Photographer

So a couple of weeks ago, I went out with EOP (Eternal Optimist Party), to do some band promo shots. What a blast! These guys and gal are easy going, and a lot of fun. Right now they're getting things lined up for their new album which will be out soon.
Wandering the streets in an industrial part of the city, we found great locations and backdrops. We ended back at the studio, where a few instruments came out, and the band had a small jam with a few impromptu shots to finish off the evening.
If you ever get the chance... check these guys out! I'm definately a fan

Core Strengths :: Calgary Portrait Photographer

Time flies... it's amazing how much stuff can happen in such a short time.

Earlier this year I did a business course, where I met Sandra Shimmin. Sandra has recently started a professional training business called Core Strengths, offering career and transition coaching, experiential team building and organizational development.
She's got great experience, has a big heart, and is great to be around!

We got together in Lethbridge for a portrait shoot underneath the High Level Bridge. A beautiful area, and it was cool having deer run by. It was a gorgeous day, and a lot of fun!

Sandra has already chosen one photo for her new business card... and others will be used for other kinds of promotion.

Lisa & Erik :: Calgary Wedding Photographer

I don't know where to begin but to say I had a blast. Lisa and Erik, thanks so much! Three days in Banff, AB, that saw snow, rain, and sunshine. The day was amazing as well as everyone that was there... what a place to meet for such a special day.
I hope we meet again...
